Description:  Big Fish is a collaboration between Portland Startup Little Bird, PR Giant Waggener Edstrom and local Product Design Agency Tater Tot Designs.  As an independent mobile consultant I oversaw the creative production of the application as well as served as a developer advocate between the three organizations.  We had four weeks to concept, design, UX and build Hey Big Fish which leverage Little Bird’s API along with Twitter’s API to provide attendees and Twitter participants of SXSW with the topics and conversations that are trending throughout the conference.

Data is served up in a filtered accessible way as a means to float relevancy to the top. It also gives attendees and those interested from afar a glimpse into influential folks they can connect with and provides a ranking measuring your ability to connect with these influencers inside of the SXSW pond. 

TMZ Mobile Site

Description: TMZ approached tenfour to re-architect and design the user experience for their mobile website. It was important to preserve their newly launched brand and to design the experience to incorporate and not disrupt their current publishing workflows and existing third party platform integrations.  The feedback from the site launch was overwhelmingly positive and garnered a 2X spike in traffic from mobile web. 

Mobile Pulse

Description: Mobile Pulse is a mobile website created to serve up relevant mobile marketing usage statistics to clients. New data was added frequently and users had the option to sign up to receive SMS notifications each quarter. 

Hawaii Here

Role: Mobile Technology Consultant

Description: Hawaii Here was a mobile web app built for Hawaiian Airlines that allowed users to preview the best of Hawaii and plan their vacations from their mobile devices. In addition, was synched with location services and Hawaiian Miles accounts to bring the user contextual information, offers and rewards. 

Tweet-a-Beer

Role: Light Digital Producing to QA, launch and maintain the site. 

Description: Tweet-a-Beer was the first implementation of social commerce and payment platform Chirpify’s API. In addition it utilized the API’s of Foursquare, Twitter and Paypal, to allow users to send each other Mobile person to person payments. It was a hit at SXSW 2012 and went on to trend on Mashable and CNN as well as win various awards. 

Zoomie

Role:  Digital Producer, Technical Strategy

Description: Intel tasked tenfour with creating a Tizen mobile app to demonstrate the capabilities of Tizen at the annual Tizen Conference in San Francisco. tenfour had only two weeks to design and develop the app, so we chose to focus on the capabilities of HTML5 produce a simple mobile web photo-zoom game.  

The Big Reboot

Description: The Big Reboot was a social-mobile marketing campaign designed to provide uplift to small businesses. It was co-branded by Staples, Toshiba and Intel and included a desktop and mobile presence. Outreach was key to the success of this campaign so there was an extensive social and prizing strategy as well as full time community management to engage with small business participants. 

Adidas

Description: The adidas innovation team tapped tenfour to help concept, strategize and design social and mobile iOS app concepts and large scale social media campaigns. As this work is still in the process of development and under NDA I am unable to share the work publicly at this time.

Tizen Apps

Role: Business Development,Executive Digital Producer, Account Manager, Strategy, Ideation, Creative Team Procurement and Management. 

Description: Intel approached tenfour to create a bank of mobile web apps for the new Tizen OS. tenfour completed the research, ideation, design and UX for 48 apps within three months by building a dedicated team of visual and sound designers and UX strategists. The apps spanned several categories including business, utility, games and entertainment. 

Google Creative Labs

RIB (Rapid Interface Builder) - Tizen SDK

Description: The RIB is an open source Chrome based tool provided by Intel to help users quickly prototype and create user interfaces for HTML5 applications.  tenfour was responsible for ideating, concepting and designing the user interface and experience as well as developer support throughout implementation.
